Every MIETIS bag is designed in Barcelona by María Fontanellas and handmade by artisans in our own workshop in Igualada. Production is kept in-house, so the team controls every stage, from material selection to the final finishing details.

Hand-painted edges

The edges of MIETIS bags are painted by hand, often in a contrasting colour: a finishing detail that has become one of the brand's signatures.

Fumée: no two pieces alike

Fumée pieces are hand-painted one by one with a smoke-like colour gradient, so every bag is unique.

Limited editions, made in small runs

MIETIS produces in limited quantities, following a “less is more” approach. Limited editions are made in small runs; the MIETIS Collectors list gets early access to each new drop.
