Colour, painted like smoke.
Fumée is colour that moves. Layer after layer, our artisans paint every piece by hand, letting the tone deepen softly towards the edges, like smoke settling on leather.
Because it is done by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

01 · THE LEATHER
It starts with the hide.
Our family has worked with leather since 1952. Three generations learning how each hide behaves: how it breathes, how it takes colour, how it ages.
Fumée needs leather that takes colour evenly, layer after layer. Knowing which one will is something you only learn over decades.
02 · BY HAND
Over four hours of painting.
Each piece is painted by hand, one layer at a time, building the gradient slowly until the tone melts into the edges.
Over four hours of painting go into every fumée, and more than 50 hours of craft into the finished piece. No machine can repeat it. That is the point.
03 · OUR WORKSHOP
Made in Igualada.
Fumée is only possible because we have our own workshop in Igualada, Barcelona. Cutting, painting and assembling happen under one roof, in the hands of artisans who know every step.
It is slow by design. Time is the one ingredient we never rush.
